On Approach —
These Gerberas were get-well presents to Jenny from her grandmother and aunts/cousins. After lots of close-up photos, Jenny asked that I take some photos showing the entire arrangement. To prevent distractions (such as snow melting on the window), I moved the flowers to the coffee table and switched to the telephoto lens.
Since the flowers had either been on the mantle, or next to me and my macro lens, the telephoto arrangement gave Milo a chance to sneak in and investigate the flowers before we shooed him away…
