These flowers, a get-well present to Jenny from my parents, are quite interesting… Apart from several flowers being strangely multi-colored (as in a single petal being half white/half pink, split right down the middle!), that is. The buds form upside-down, looking very like a chile on the vine. But they then open by folding upwards, while the stamen points downwards like a bee’s stinger.
