Nosebleed Section —
Spectators watch from the uppermost seats as the University of Minnesota plays California, September 19, 2009. Probably the best game Minnesota played all season, even though they lost.
Ilford Delta 3200 B&W film, shot with a Rolleiflex Opton Tessar 3.5F. I had a partially used roll of 3200 in the camera, and so had to find a way to shoot even with the bright midday sun if I wanted to use the Rolleiflex (which maxes out at 1/500th of a second and f/22). I ended up using stacked red and linear polarized filters in order to drop the three stops I needed to not burn out the film.
