Taken on our Door County 2009 trip.
After some of the rain, I took the macro lens out for a spin to find some raindrops on flowers. As I was walking back to the cabin, these clothes-pins caught my eye. That the wasp was just sitting there was an added bonus.
While it doesn’t show as well in the photoblog-scaled version, I’m quite impressed by the sharpness of the 100mm macro, even at ISO 640 — this is stopped-down only one stop from wide open!
