It was a little strange asking the Best Man to—uh—borrow the rings for a few minutes… He did sort of lurk over my shoulder for a while, but by the time I was done he was nowhere to be found! Perhaps he figured anybody staring at the rings at such close distance couldn’t possibly lose them.
