We visited the Minnesota Zoo on June 21 — the first official day of summer. And boy did Mother Nature feel like getting us reacquainted with the season!
It was hot out there, and while we visitors could cool down with a snow cone or Icee, the residents could only retreat to the shade, or risk baking in the hot sun. This lone Caribou braved the heat, and took refuge in some (hopefully cool) grass.
