Orchid and Leaves —
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum has opened their annual orchid show. I made it there once or twice last year, and couldn’t resist the opportunity to again find some nice flowers in the middle of Minnesota Winter! We’ll see if I get the chance to get back again this year, but even one visit provided some nice images.
Last year I used the flash/stofen/macro lens combination to help get better macro photos of the orchids. This year I decided to try using the Lumipro Softbox, and I’m rather impressed with the results — the stofen provides some softness, but the softbox is an enormous relative light source when at macro distances!
