The Kick —
The University of Minnesota versus California, September 19, 2009. Probably the best game Minnesota played all season, even though they lost.
Ilford Delta 3200 B&W film, shot with a Rolleiflex Opton Tessar 3.5F. I had a partially used roll of 3200 in the camera, and so had to find a way to shoot even with the bright midday sun if I wanted to use the Rolleiflex (which maxes out at 1/500th of a second and f/22). I ended up using stacked red and linear polarized filters in order to drop the three stops I needed to not burn out the film.
