Marchio Storico del Vino Bono — the house wine we had with dinner, our first night in Pisa. We’d arrived at the hotel (Hotel Alessandro della Spina), and asked the front desk where we could get dinner fairly quickly. She recommended a pizzeria around the corner, and we trundled off through the dark, drizzly streets.
For 10€ we had this amazing bottle of wine. Not sure if it’s really available anywhere outside the Pisa area, or even really there… But it certainly helped us come to trust just ordering the Vino della Casa whereever we went!
