Toscana —
For those of you I don’t have the pleasure of knowing personally, the previous photo posted on Jenny and my wedding day. Understandably, I haven’t updated since as we’ve been away on our honeymoon. And I haven’t yet had a chance to really process the 2,500+ photos I took in Italy (and Jenny has another 1,000+).
We spent the vast amount of time in Tuscany (Toscana, in local parlance), most of it in smaller towns. We planned to avoid the tourist-cliché stuff [mostly] and strike out into the more undiscovered territory, and to a large part we succeeded. Some amazing food, amazing scenery, amazing people — basically everything was amazing!
This post may last for a while too, as we’re rather busy at home getting everything squared away post-wedding: thank-you’s, cleaning the house, coordinating a move, etc. But never fear, we’ll be up again soon with many many photos and stories!
