Bee Happy —
Jenny and I took advantage of this Saturday’s gorgeous weather and headed to the Arboretum. It’s been quite some time, so we stopped by the rose and dahlia gardens.
I don’t remember quite so many gangley dahlias from last year, so apparently they’re showing different varieties this year. I remember the more bunched up, tightly wound ones.
I also brought the Rolleiflex medium-format film camera along, and took my last three exposures on the current roll of Velvia 50 RVP… Since it’s my first roll of medium-format film, I’m really curious to see how it turned out. I’m hoping my exposures were on, as except for using an old analog light-meter, I really had no guidance on exposure (beyond applying the Velvia documentation’s version of the Sunny-16 rule…
I’ll post some of those pictures once I’ve had the film developed and scanned (hopefully they’ll have turned out)!
