The ornamental grass exhibit is entirely surrounded by a tall hedge of lilac bushes, all flowering bright purple! Beyond simply taking in the lovely lilac aroma, we noticed several butterflies making the rounds.
While the wind and their constant flittering made it difficult to get many pictures, I managed to snag this one while the butterfly had stopped for a brief rest.
