1st Violin —
I’ve been itching to try some “studio” shots of instruments. I hesitate to attempt my trumpet first, due to the highly reflective silver plating… So my violin got pulled out, tuned up (funny how even for a photo shoot it gets tuned!), and put through the paces with my new macro lens.
Perhaps future shots will be done with a wide-angle… its hard to get enough in the frame at 100mm, and I’m guessing a wide-angle shot would give some really funky perspective. But it was already getting late, and I didn’t want to spend too much time on this shot, late at night…
