Pink Orchid —
Taken this past Thursday… the day of our wonderful little blizzard.
A coworker and I drove to the Arboretum over lunch. Since the previous time I’d visited the Orchid display there were too many people to set up the tripod, I figured we’d go back on a week day, hoping there’d be fewer people.
We had the run of the place, but had quite the drive back to the office… The blizzard was worst right after we arrived at the Arboretum, so we had terrible roads going back to work. Ended up being a fairly long “long lunch”… But we got back safe and sound — and with some pretty nice photos.
