Orchid Exhibit! —
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is putting on their annual Orchid exhibit now. Jenny and I went this past Saturday (part of our Valentine’s day), and were quite amazed by the flowers.
While I should have expected it, there were many other people there with the same idea. Because the exhibit was in the “great hall” at the arboretum headquarters building, the crowd made photography challenging. While a few other photographers just whipped out their tripods and took over a flower, I wasn’t quite so uninhibited.
I’m hoping to go back on a less busy day before the exhibit closes, and do some more natural light macro photography.
