This sailboat had passed by earlier, and while taking sunset pictures we saw it was coming back. I finished up my long-exposure and switch to the telephoto lens. Since the boat would go by the sun fairly fast, I pre-focused and pre-composed (I was on a tripod). When the sailboat started entering the viewfinder, I fired off several shots over perhaps 20 seconds, this one among them.
