In Memoriam
Amadeus (~ June 25, 2005 — July 20, 2007)
Amadeus was my wonderful feline friend and companion. Having adopted him from the Humane Society of Minnesota on March 25, 2006, I was able to watch his transformation from a young and rambunctious 9 month old kitten to an extremely energetic and playful adolescent cat. He graced my home with his deep purrs, his silky fur, and his great big bushy weapon of a tail!
While I’m sure he was constantly annoyed by me pointing my new camera at him and causing it to emit a click, I’m grateful that I picked up the hobby of photography when I did. I have very few photographs of Amadeus prior January 2007, which saddens me. However, I was able to capture some amazing moments during the few months I had.
Sadly, Amadeus passed away one year ago today — all too suddenly, but leaving behind a human companion profoundly changed from the one Amadeus entranced and adopted one chilly March morning.
