The Bald Eagle was located along the zoo’s Minnesota Trail, right across from the Bobcat. Hard to take a decent picture through chain-link fence, but that’s all we’re allowed. Although, given that wicked-looking beak, I think I won’t argue with staying behind a fence!
I do feel really sorry for this eagle… for a species that regularly migrates enormous distances, to be stuck in a relatively small cage!
