This little Dryas julia (Julia Butterfly) was really shy — I sat there for a few minutes trying to capture her wings open, but every time I tried to take a picture she’d close them again…
Honestly though, the open-wing shots looked fairly generic butterfly… Hmm, you think she was trying to tell me this was really her photogenic side?
