Crabapple Pollen —
For our anniversary, Jenny got us a membership at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Since we’ve been talking about going there again (the previous time was late last summer), and had an open night, we managed to get there on May 21 (sorry for the delay - I queue these posts up in advance to maintain an every-day posting schedule).
We decided to go that Wednesday because at the time it was peak Crabapple-blossom season in Minnesota (Tulips, too). We walked along the crabapple orchard for a good long while, basking in the amazing aroma of the crabapple blossoms! If only we could have those all summer long!
On the excursion to the Arboretum, I photographed a mix between true “macro” and general flower shots, and will have them appear over the next few days.
