Nevada Falls, Yosemite National Park —
Nevada Falls is one of Yosemite National Park’s spectacular waterfalls. Being a 4-5 hour hike from the floor of Yosemite Valley, it’s one of the less visited waterfalls, and a slightly more tranquil visit.
During my visit to Yosemite last April, I spent a day hiking to the top of the falls, and grabbed this picture along the way. You can catch a glimpse of some visitors slightly left of center, giving you a sense of scale with the waterfall.
I recently decided to go through my earlier photographs. Looking through my older pictures has led me to realize how much I’ve learned about photography in just this short year. It’s humbling, and reminds me that there is still much to be learned.
